Forest Faery Tree Topper with Owl and Robin – 10” Needle Felted Wool Figure | Woodland Yule Decor, Waldorf Christmas Fairy

$315.00

Hand sculpted through the slow process of needle felting using fine merino wool and natural fibers, this woodland figure carries the quiet atmosphere of the forest into the home. Standing approximately ten inches tall, the sculpture is formed with a hollow interior so it may rest gently at the crown of a Christmas tree.

Her flowing gown, composed in rich shades of evergreen with subtle accents of moss and gold, evokes the deep greens of the forest that endure through winter. Soft curls frame her face while two small birds rest upon her outstretched arms: a watchful owl and a robin. Together they suggest the silent life of the woods and the quiet promise of returning song as the seasons turn.

While designed to crown a Christmas tree, the figure’s deep woodland palette and natural presence allow it to remain beautifully displayed long after the holidays. Placed on a seasonal table, within a winter vignette, or among a collection of handmade objects, she becomes a gentle reminder of the enduring life of the forest.

The simplicity of form and the softness of the wool give the sculpture a serene and contemplative presence.

Each piece is individually shaped by hand. Subtle variations in form and texture are part of the character of the work and reflect the nature of the traditional needle-felting process.
